Creature

Creature is a short film and my senior thesis project at the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design.

I did the visual development, character design, background design, animation, and sound design.

The film depicts the human ability to make a home for oneself. Self psychologists like Heinz Kohut tell us that we project the notion of home onto many diverse locations. We see the homes we’ve made for ourselves as extensions of who we are and therefore have complex relationships with them.
